I'm sure there are one or two on here aren't there? news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7871198.stmPS - a very important question for "lapsed" Evertonian Dwad. I know you think footy is ungodly etc etc - but didn't you feel a familiar twinge last night? Just a bit, yes?

Have you heard the Toffee fans whining cos they missed the goal when ITV played a TicTac advert?

You won't find an Evertonian without a demented fixed smile on their face today, Muz. We're incapable of whining just now.

[That said the first thing I did on arriving at the office today was cut all the match reports out of the papers and stick them to the computer of a red-sh*te colleague.]

I was going to watch that match last night, but decided against it. Oh dear, so what happened then? I think I'd have been a bit pissed off if I'd spent nearly two hours of play watching a stalemate only to miss the deciding goal. news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7871844.stmThat must be the first ever mass experience of 'going into the kitchen to put the kettle on for when the game finished and before the penalties started'.

It was a very, very boring match and I kept switching between that and watching England grinding runs out on a very slow pitch - the only interesting things were Pietersen's silly over, Gerrard getting injured, Lucas sent off, and that ad break. Not enough for 2 and a half hours of my time

Hohoho Sushi.
Still, at least your fans - the "best in the country, salt of the Earth" - behaved with dignity and pride. Oh hang on they didn't did they.
But at least Rafa wasn't bitter and classless. Oh hang on...

Liverpool are fcuked. Without Captain Marvel they are very, very average. And he's done his hamstring and is out for a month.
Even with Captain Marvel they're not really contenders. Defensive, uninspiring. Suppose it's because Rafa hasn't been given any money to spend by the evil American board...

Eh? Didn't they beat Chelski on Sunday? Yes they did, and well, and they have coped fine without Stevie too. I'll let Omni have his mandatory 15 seconds of fame and glory - it will soon pass!

Yeah they beat chelsea but anyone could beat chelsea right now. The fact is you guys were top and for the past few months you havent shown any where near enough to possibly be crowned champions. The higher you get the harder you fall. Chelsea will stay put, doing just enough to hold onto 3rd or second. Liverpool i can small a drop coming as they dont have the depth needed.

The really bizarre thing is that Liverpool have been crap most of the season and are still way near the top.
Anyway, I've not watched any top flight footy this year until that match. I'd forgotten how poor it is. Very fast, no skill, defensive teams. Not really worth the effort.
But that 'fro on the Everton midfielder is very, very impressive, and Everton would be more screwed without Arteta than Liverpool will be without captain hands-on-hips-huffy-point-lots-hollywood-balls.
