A suspected killer wanted for the horrific murder of a former girlfriend may be using Facebook site to try to lure other female victims, police have warned.
George Appleton, 40, is described as 'a serious threat to women' after the burned body of a young mother was found in her home.
Police have told several women known to have been contacted by Appleton via dating and social networking sites not to meet him under any circumstances.
