This is a huge story. Absolutely massive. Makes Watergate look small time.

Really? Brown's top economics adviser person covered up all of the bad practises in banking before the collapse? And has been instructing Brown since then on how to save the banks and shaft the public?

It's not good for MONG
1243 David Cameron has finally found a way of linking the financial crisis to Gordon Brown, says Nick Robinson. Mr Cameron worries that some members of the public do not yet blame Mr Brown for what has happened to the economy so the Crosby story is a gift from above.

This was all over the Metro this morning. Not the resignation, but the story of this arsehole firing the whistleblower and being Brown's attendent advisor

Gordon Brown had an advisor? I can't believe that. It's like believing that Elton John needs a drama coach.

not so much an advisor as a co-conspirator and fellow Marxist anarchist. We all know what Stalin did with his co-conspirators do we not?

Personally I'd like to hear more about this heroic "whistleblower", what he actually did and why he was made redundant etc.
Don't see the big deal in the HBOS bloke being appointed to the FSA. It's bloody obvious you're going to have loads of fat cat big cheese bankers in there.

Well, the fact that he's resigned already says quite a lot.

It also explains why the FSA are a bunch of cack handed incompetent fucktards who would appear to have prepared for the credit crunch by closing their eyes and hiding behind the sofa - sound familiar?

The FSA can't even run a procurement exercise (trust me), the idea of them being able to save the world is farking hilarious.

So we now know that Brown was too big a fan of deregulated, free-market, Tory economics? Wow, big news.
