I've seen a couple of boards that do have separate boards for the Middle East.
News in general does tend to cover various areas and obviously, even in the UK the inclusion of Muslims into news items is always going to happen. One thing I would like to see though and that is that threads that have no religious context, Muslim, Jewish, Christian or other, don't get taken over so that the folk who do wanrt to give those topics a miss can do so without being taken unawares.
I get the feeling that there are going to be a lot of separate areas on this board as it is.
More subdivisions would just make it cluttered.

How can it be a 'fact' that you say I can't see things rationally? The stuff I am reading - I can give you a number of resources if you are interested. But obviously if a person takes no interest in a subject, then they can not expect to be able to talk about it with any real understanding.
Your suggestion - that 'muslim' topics have a special 'muslim' section - is inane. It's in the news all the time, and Islam has a bearing on Iraq, Afghanistan and Israel/Palestine (to name only the most topical news angles), discussions about sharia law, immigration aside from being an interesting and in-depth topic in its own right.
And you persist in talking about 'them' rather than what I talk about - the doctrine. I just personally find it strange how you 'don't wish to discuss it'. Why do you want the subject to go away so much? If it wasn't me talking about it it would be someone else. This thing (such as it is) exists and if I was executed tomorrow (like Theo Van Gogh was for making an arty film about the Koranic sanction for domestic violence) the subject still wouldn't go away.
I suggest you deal with that. That really is a fact.

MSN News became one of the most racist board I've seen. I reckon it's what turned a lot of people off.
