I posted the very popular Jaqui Smith adult video thread the other day.
You don't seem to get it - put up an interesting thread, engage with the subject and it will stay at the top of the board.

How can you have a news discussion board that ignores something that is in the news all the time? I guarantee you that if you remove contentious subjects there won't much to talk about - other than chit chat. And we have a board for that already.

I don't expect any thread I post to be 'top of the board' not important to me, more important that people want to add a bit of their wisdom or opinion on it.

All the time? Certainly not lately, in fact probably not since before the Israeli invasion of Gaza - which ended just before the inauguration of president Obama.

Crypto, if u dont like my posts you dont have to read them. If u dont like islam threads choose a thread u do like to post on. If u cant find one then create one.
I make threads on all sorts not just islam.
Some threads bore me. Im not into tory threads and such like but i dont moan about threads others have taken time to create.
Why dont the moaners be constructive and get sum threads going .

I once went on holiday to Albania (about 15 years ago). I remember a local boat hire company rep telling me they would stage midnight raids on Corfu (about 40 miles away) to steal pedaloes and tow them back home to rent out to tourists. Now THAT'S enterprise.  |

I'm in a funk and not posting my wondrous thoughts because of a bastard little lickspittle of a tooth that is causing me significant pain and the bloody dentist won't do anything about it until Tuesday, at which pount he'll rub his slightly pudgy hands together and say, "How do you want me to hurt you? Extraction or root canal?"

If management don't like the spew of Islam realted threads (or any threads, for that matter), why don't thy just consolidate / delete them? It seems to be easy enough to do on proboards, since my vitally topical and important threads on wardrobe and the like got shunted over to chit-chat.

I've had raging toothache for two weeks. I've fallen off the NHS register so will have to go private for treatment.
I'm putting it off by swallowing painkillers washed down with copious amounts of wine...... it works ! (so far)

We were at the dentist today (oops this is getting like chit-chat) with Mrs C having to have a wisdom tooth taken out. It transpires she has some weird crossed-over nerve endings which meant even after three jabs of anaesthetic she was still in agony.

Heh, sorry Puff.
If it helps guys, I needed a filling but no drilling required so pretty painless. Oh and the dental nurse, Katrina, is gorgeous.
Beachy, what do you mean by 'fallen off the NHS register'? Can't you just re-register?
