My mate Salma is a real beauty and she wears the most gorgeous undies you've ever seen.
(Before you make some lewd comment about my sexuality she showed me her shopping when it was still off her body)

Our local NHS dentist practice is excellent.
I'd try to work in some Islam reference here, but our dentist's name is Shiva, so I assume she's Hindi.

I haven't seen a dentist for about 10 years Crypto.
It seems that as I haven't been a faithfull client (not having check ups every 6 months) they've kicked me off their books. Every other dentist in the area only takes private patients at a vast cost for treatment.
So, inspite of my paying my NHS stamps all my life, I can no longer get free dental treatment.
That hurts - in more ways than one !

Hmm, I hadn't seen a dentist for about 10 years either. Didn't have a problem registering with the local NHS one though.
It isn't free though. £45 for a filling, but that seems reasonable compared to the £200 Mrs C's parents would pay for one, at a private practice.

Beachy unless you are unable to pay by virtue of being unemployed [and maybe even that doesn't qualify] sick or disabled there is no free dental treatment in the U.K to anybody over 18.

Sick or disabled doesn't qualify you either. You have to be on means tested benefits.

Could be the suppression of freedom of speech on here (the disgraceful deletions of NYers posts in particular) has killed interest in the board. Oh yea , lets not allow any discussions about Muslims. One more step into the oblivion of PC boredom and niceness. Good suggestion Puff.

Who suggested no more discussions? It wasn't me.
Suggesting a special section for a special interest discussion board , a thing that is common practice in many communities, isn't disallowing discussion.
Get your head from out of that dark place and read what people actually say, not what you would like to think they said.

Shhhhhhh, crypto. They'll never go ! [/i]
I'm booked in for Tuesday - but thew diagnosis is predetermined. He'll say, "Ah, is it the same tooth as before?" and I'll nod, and he'll say, "Well, if it's playing up again already, that only leaves the option of ripping the bastard out, or gouging away at your nerves with until the they are too mangled to work any more."
Oh, well, my own fault, I neglected getting an impacted wisdom tooth dealt with until it had caused massive damage to the adjacent one ... "How I wish I'd looked after me teeth," and so on ...

What need have you of dentists? Your style of debate is toothless.

'Him Indoors', yesterday morning, 2 hours in dentists chair for root fillings, non NHS, total cost £500 - paid for by Denplan insurance costing £18 per month.
Get dental insurance - worth it's weight in gold, and check up's every 6 months included.

There have been few instances of deletions sonce NEWS moved to proboards.
NYer posted a link to a rather nasty site for no other reason than to shock. He had apparently been warned about this previously.
In a huff, he made a dramatic exit.
