Apparently not: "Clarence House stated that when Charles becomes king, Camilla will adopt the unprecedented style of Princess Consort, similar to the style of Prince Albert. This is not the same usage as her father-in-law, the Duke of Edinburgh, who does not hold the title of Prince Consort." ( Here) e, I'm all for Phillip being granted immortality and being declared King of Britain.

Hmm - they're still worried about the whole general public / Diana / divorce thing with Camilla then?

Interesting program on the History Channel recently, "The British"
It claims if the entire line to ascend to the British throne, were wiped out, the crown would be inherited by the Norwegian Royal family,
Is that true?

Probably as they are all intermarried. The royal families of Europe are more inbred than an Alabama red necks. The problem with that idea is, that to remove everyone with a legitimate blood tie to the royal family would depopulate most of the UK. Its simple maths, every generation back doubles the number of anticedence. 2 parents, 4 grand parents, 8 great grand parents. At the 10th generation that is 1024 per person.

Of course, "Gets it" means something a bit different when Ming says it about a man.

Nope, Stephen Fry gets it. So we'd still have a Queen.

When Chuck does get the crown, will he breed a new dog.
A King Charles Corgi crossed with Whippet. maybe.

Nah, leave Queenie and Phil alone. And Anne.
Don't care much for the rest of 'em.

When he becomes King do any of you know whether he will take the title of Charles III or another name?
Also, will we refer to the last 60 or so years as the Elizabethan age? The neo Elizabethan age? or wot?

The neo Elizabethan age? or wot? I'm assuming he'll be a Charles. There's been so suggestion he'll adopt anything else. The question I wonder is not "Elizabethan", which at least is understandable, but what happens for the Charles era? Charlian sounds more like a dodgy alien-worshipping sect.

We'll be in the Carolingian era. Charlemagne, as he'll be known, will drive the M*zzies from our lands.

Sad thing for Charlie is he probably wont be on the throne long enough to lend his name to an age, if Brenda's mum is owt to go by she's not going anywhere soon and never looked likely to abdicate.
