We'll be in the Carolingian era. Charlemagne, as he'll be known, will drive the M*zzies from our lands. Historically inaccurate. Carlos Magnus unified the Franks and conquered lots of northern Europe. But you're probably thinking of his grandpappy. |

I was always amused by Boris Johnson's boast that he "hadn't had to have a wank since I was eighteen". Well, yeah, nobody "has to". The suggestion is that he had so many birds gagging for it that he never went short and needed a bit of self care. That's palpable nonsense,but ans interesting slight of hand, for want of a better expression. Legerdemain, perhaps.
