It'll all get buried in the manufactured confusion and Trump and Co will walk away laughing, shouting "Waaaaaaaaaaah - we won, we won, get over it!"
So many parallels here. Spivs control the mob.

At last a backbone on display in the Trump administration, though as expected Trump fired him very quickly, can't have integrity and morality been allowed, it might spread. US Navy chief Richard Spencer has been fired over his handling of the case of a Navy Seal demoted for misconduct. The case of Edward Gallagher, who was convicted for posing with a corpse, had sparked tensions between US President Donald Trump and military officials. The navy officer had been due to face a disciplinary review where he could have been stripped of his Seals membership. There have been differing accounts as to why Richard Spencer was asked to resign. www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-50541045This blokes own mem turned him in for war crimes, but he was only murdering Afghan women and children, so Trump was fine with that and pardoned him. He then undermined the navy's disciplinary board who had demoted him.

Wow this judge gave him a right slap, presidents are not kings, you can't ignore congress www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-50554162A federal judge has ruled that White House staff can be made to testify before Congress, rejecting the Trump administration's claims of immunity. The ruling specifically compels former White House counsel Don McGahn to testify to an inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 US election. But it also has major implications for the Democrat-led impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump.

House Dem now sees no 'value' in impeachment, as polls show falling support among independentsMichigan Democratic Rep. Brenda Lawrence, a prominent supporter of Kamala Harris who has previously supported the impeachment inquiry into President Trump, abruptly announced Sunday that she no longer saw any "value" in the process and called for her fellow Democrats to throw their support behind a symbolic censure resolution. www.foxnews.com/politics/house-dem-reverses-course-on-impeachment-as-polls-show-declining-support-i-want-to-censurelooks like they hit the chicken switch

So after saying last week he's up for testifying and clearing this whole thing up, trumps turned all craven and is refusing to take part in the impeachment cos some of the Dems might be mean to him, such a delicate flower. www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-50625550

Yep an odious creature, though having seen a clip of his rallies relentless mocking some FBI lawyers text messages doing a whole fake orgasm thing, the mob lapped it up. The ultimate example of punching down hard. I'm not sure whts more dispiriting having a craven bully in the WH or the fact so many cheer such despicable behaviour, behavior they'd be appalled by in their own children

well as it looks like the right will continue to hand wins to Putin, Trump won't be removed from office, the days when the GOP was a party of patriots is long gone, too many on the right think its better to stand with Russia against the US if that means the Dems don't win.

Isn't that true. Sen Kennedy of Louisiana, who was meant to be one of the less deranged Republican Senators, was literally parroting the Putin line (that every reputable agency has stated is untrue, and for which there is literally no evidence except Putin saying it's true) that it was Ukraine who interfered in the US election of 2016.

More hilarity from Trumplandia, GOP commities and right wing donors are bulk buying Don Jur's new book in order to boost sales numbers. The mystery over whether Donald Trump Jr’s new book deserved its place at No 1 in the New York Times bestseller list has deepened after it emerged that the Republican National Committee (RNC) spent $94,800 (£74,000) on a bulk order of the book a week before it was released. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/nov/22/republicans-bulk-bought-donald-trump-jr-triggered-book

A group of mental health professionals led by a trio of pre-eminent psychiatrists is urging the House Judiciary Committee to consider Donald Trump’s “dangerous” mental state arising from his “brittle sense of self-worth” as part of its inquiry into whether to approve articles of impeachment against him. The statement will be accompanied by a petition with at least 350 signatures from mental health professionals endorsing their conclusions. All three psychiatrists have said they are willing to testify as part of the impeachment inquiry. link
