Yeah, in defense of Marshall, I think he was just livid at Hillary. He didn't actually think Trump would be better, always said he preferred Hillary.
I suspect it's similar to my reaction to Corbyn. Corbyn is clearly infinitely better than Teresa May, but I'm also far more angry at Corbyn than I am at May because I expect so much better from the people on "my side". The left and the liberals should basically be good people trying to achieve the best that they can. The fact that Corbyn is playing Euro-quisling to May's Brexiters drives me completely and utterly nuts. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to vote Labour in my consituency.

Marshall didn't vote Trump. That said I don't get the "anyone but Hilary" crowd. Really? Really, Trump you were willing to take over Hilary? REALLY?!? ?? No, I wasn't. That's why I said I'd even vote for her over Trump. I know. Read what I wrote again.

I did. You said "you were willing". Read the whole thing. Including "Marshall didn't vote for Trump" and "I don't get the 'anybody but Hilary crowd'".

I know, you have a strange way of writing. I don't see what's strange about "Marshall didn't vote for Trump" but there you go.

I know, you have a strange way of writing. And. A strange way of reading, I never said you voted Trump Point being Marshall's decision not to vote for Trump means it's unlikely he was one of those who missed Trump's insanity.

Missed another huge win yesterday, the ACA replacement - Trumpcare, covering more people for less as promised, went absolutely nowhere, that's twice now, very bigly win, massive actually, no one has achieved so much of nothing in their first 100 days, no one. Sad

Come to that, what have the Tories done in the last few years that might be deemed positive?

I'm still laughing at his NAFTA comments. He had no idea what would be involved in pulling out of NAFTA. Everybody here got in a tizzy about it, until sanity prevailed. The US can't just leave, there's a process. Such a steep learning curve for somebody who's always got his own way in business.

Come to that, what have the Tories done in the last few years that might be deemed positive? That's not quite the same. The stuff the Tories has done has generally been terrible, but it's mostly what they said they'd do. Trump has, over the course of 3 months, managed to do none of things he said he would, most of which he said would be the very first thing he'd do (yes, I know...).

H I know the huge NAFTA win was amazing to behold, it's leaked he was about to sign an executive order pulling the US out on day 100 to please his base and have something positive for the media to focus on instead of the ineptitude of achieving almost nothing. Then all it takes a phone call from Justin and it's all change, the US staying and tweaking NAFTA instead. He's flopping about like a fish just landed on the dock.

It's what happens when you campaign for the presidency and never expect people to be stupid enough to vote for you.
