"The parallels with Brexit are simply breathtaking."
Indeed....all good news stories must be "despite" Trump and all bad stories must be tagged "because" of the Donald.....! Please carry on posting to your self serving echo chamber.....enjoy.

sadly there have been no good news stories, well if you're a Trumper that is.
details of how big a win the spending bill was shows massive massive support for his agenda, no cuts to planned parenthood, no cuts to environmental projects, not a cent for the wall, it goes no, huge win.

So it rebounded from the lowish figure in March to a just-above-average figure in April. The kind of number that consistently happened over the last 7 and a half years of Obama's presidency?
It's fine, although with March's slow down it's not brilliant. But this was the kind of number that was repeatedly being used to abuse Obama. It's farcical.

Jim's already told us this is Obama's economy, so if even Trumpisters are giving Obama the credit.... it is still Obama's economy,

More to the point, it's ironic that you're trumpeting as a massive triumph the exact same sorts of numbers that came for the previous 90 months, which you never commented on.
Are you saying that it's an astonishing miracle that Trump hasn't managed to f**k the economy yet? Because you didn't think these figures were a big deal in 2016, or 2012, or 2010...

I think you will find that contrary to what we were told ahead of the election by the MSM the world has not imploded as they predicted.....no World wars....no exodus etc That is all I have said.....the" massive triumph stuff "is in your head......
The same pattern as uk post Brexit voting.

In fairness, much like Brexit not actually happening, Trump hasn't actually brought any new policies forward.
Also, unlike Brexit, almost everyone predicted a short term massive economic boom from Trumpism because of huge, unfunded tax cuts and continued spending. So far, none of that's happened. Which is good, because the consequences would almost certainly be a massive crash afterwards.

Hahaha....So all this good news is firmly in the "despite Donald " camp then..! Pretty much. Let's see how things look in 1, 2 and 4 years time, and see how much or little policy he actually enacts. In a best case scenario he carries on Obama's policies. That would actually be good practice, and I might even give him a little credit for it...

So one day after repealing Obamacare to finance another tax break for the 1%, he says to Australia's PM on TV that "you have better health care than we do".
So, now either he's for universal health care or he doesn't know what the fcuk he's talking about again - which do you think?
(I'll give you two guesses and the first one won't count.)
