Why is that? For a stable education and because Service Children's Schools are almost uniformly shite.

So, rather than make the service children’s schools flood for all kids of servicemen, they instead just spaff a ton of taxpayers cash at Eton and Winchester for the kids of the top brass?

Also, the grant is available to all ranks.

So that makes taxpayers spending money to send these kids to very expensive public schools ok?

I don't see a problem here; it's a perk of the job and sometimes necessary when the family's constantly on the move. Traditionally, state employment was underpaid but provided other benefits. Don't know whether it's still the same. I worked in the civil service where the pay rates were lower than the private sector but other benefits like job security, good holidays and sick pay and all sorts of social spin-offs made up for the shortfall.

Yeah, that's about the size of it. Van's just struggling with adolescence and thickness.
I think the whole subsidised boarding school thing has been cut down a lot now as it was a bit of a hangover from the pre-jet age. Also, accompanied overseas postings are a rarity now, and pretty well non-existant for the navy.

There are 150,000 in the UK military. There isn’t enough room in Eton for all their kids. So somehow it’s the top brass’s kids who get the biggest perks, and meanwhile the cannon fodder ranks have to put up with the schools that even Baloo acknowledges are sh*t and which really could benefit from the investment of the taxpayer cash that’s spaffed on schools for posh kids.

Do they? If a corporal wanted to send his kids to Marlborough, that would be subsidised just the same. I was friends with several lads whose Dads were NCOs.

A bad decision.
Living in an open, plural, democratic and inclusive society means running the risk of being offended. Within the eyes of UK Law, if this film is not breaking any law then I see no reason whatsoever to ban it. A minority's sensibilities should not, after all, be used as a reason for denying the majority their freedom of choice.

I think that happened here a few years ago with dibble citing lack of a risk assessment for not wading in. I think it even have just been a ditch or shallow water too.

Still its small time considering a whole police force stood around talking when 19 kids were being murdered, well not all of them, a few were tazering and handcuffing mums trying to save their kids when dibble were too cowardly to do it.
