His apology is a bit pathetic and half-hearted. He's in a bit of trouble here.
He might not get kicked out of the Senate, but he's probably not going to be allowed to run again.
It's odd - since Trump got elected he's become such a darling of the left. Partly because of his intelligent questioning of Trump nominees, but mostly just because he's famous. People seemed to think his fame would be good against Trump's in an election. So they thought he'd make a good Presidential candidate. It never made sense, although I assumed the skeletons from his SNL closet would be drugs or some other kind of arseholery, rather than turning out to be all sex-pesty.

be a bit of a test if he does run again, we already know the Alabama GOP would prefer voting for a pedophile over a Dem, wonder if the Dems will vote for a sex pest over a Rep?

I imagine he'd lose a primary, so Dems won't get the choice (thankfully).
His sex-pest gropery is a little less extreme than Moore chasing after under-age girls, or that one story that seemed even more forced. But it should still be disqualifying.

Bollox, every Dem who've commented so far has roundly condemned him, no one is saying "if it's true" or saying it's "fake news" or saying it don't happen, even the old perv himself has admitted it and aappologised. If there is a double standard it's yours mate, not once have you posted about the paedophile Moore or produced you hallmark list of dubious links to fringe nutter sites about the scandal of having a child molester potentially getting in.

Then it was back to unloading on Moore. Feminist Gloria Steinem - "Even if the allegations are true, the President (Clinton) is not guilty of sexual harassment." Yeah we did that on another thread. This old statement by Steinem at the time revealed a dodgy atttitude. Hopefully she has changed now.
