Reading that he comes across as desperate - hitting on colleague after colleague hoping somebody will take him up. Relationships can evolved naturally but dude just comes across creepy. Plus he’s gross to look at so that is 1 billion times worse... That's all true, but there are people who are just "up for it" and I get the impression that it's just a numbers game. I know a bloke who's a short, plain, little gnome, but he is very successful with the ladies. All good clean fun: he just has the banter and he makes it quite clear what his game is. No harm done I suppose. He's a randy little terrier of a man, but he's never been disrespectful or creepy to my knowledge. He's a shagging force of nature. |

It's a bit of a minefield having relationships at work. I used to work for a company which was very much a team but the much-respected MD started shagging a member of staff who suddenly became his PA and work-companion. Look, it was only sex of course, but it was very damaging to morale and the boss' credibility as it was blatantly obvious what was going on. This was a company where we mixed socially and had a close-knit, hard working environment and those goings on were very damaging. I never respected the bloke afterwards as he'd let us down by expecting us to be complicit with his bad behaviour.
