I rather like Ellen. Or at least we used to enjoy her show in the 90s. Good fun. I don't think she's got anything to be ashamed of here: a couple of blokes on her staff are dickheads and she's not terribly keen to be engaged in conversation with every man and his dog when she's trying to work. Not exactly Elizabeth Báthory, is she? |

As luck would have it, her current programme was on when I came in for lunch (and to slack off from digging post holes, Mrs. B having gone to look at a new relative.)
It is ridiculously noisy and hyper, but very well done.

Mark Lerigo, 49, of Coventry, was given a two-year jail term, suspended for two years, at Warwick Crown Court. Lerigo, who pleaded guilty to eight charges, had downloaded "dreadful" material, the court heard. |
