So, um, the BBC website says "the abuse took place at Dylan's apartment in New York's Chelsea Hotel" and "She said the abuse took place over a six-week period between April and May 1965." Dylan was on tour in Britain for most of that period: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Dylan_England_Tour_1965 (for the Dylan nerds, it wasn't *that* Free Trade Hall gig, that came a year later). Which does mean it didn’t happen. Just given the period of intervening team she maybe mistaken about the dates.

Oh great, what's he going to be this time if not a gynecologist - a bartender?
I'll bet it bombs.

If his returning to public life poses a threat to the monarchy, then bring it on.

TBH, he was marginalised a long, long time ago. There was no role for him really.

He should do a Prufomo and devote his life to charitable works in utter silence. If he's not in jail, that is.

It all started to go wrong for them when they appeared on It's a Knockout. Ill-advised.

Yeah, joining in is all well and good, but familiarity breeds contempt.

megan markle is to the royal family what yoko ono was to the beatles. I am pretty sure she did not make Andrew cozy up to Epstein… Had a quick Google and saw this: www.distractify.com/p/why-do-people-hate-yoko-ono“ She was relatively unknown, an artist from New York who had moved to London, England, and her life changed. She became one of the most hated people in the world, but why do people hate Yoko Ono? Turns out racism and misogyny play a big role.” Hmm. 1. An American who moves to the UK and falls in love with an Englishman. 2. He makes unpopular career choices and she is blamed for it (because a grown man can never ever choose to put his spouse first nor take responsibility for his own decisions 3. A huge part of the pushback against her was racist and misogynist in nature. I take it back, MM IS the Yoko Ono of the Royal Family!

Did Yoko Ono actually do anything or was it just misogyny driving the attitudes towards her?

I remember it well. It wasn't so much misogyny, more the fact she was a wacky Jap, and of course Lennon's bird, which would make her a hate figure for thousands of British girls. As usual the media played on it and the British public lapped it up.

You're right. Misogyny was so in-grained in GB in those days it wasn't recognised as anything but the norm. Nowadays it's recognised.

I was answering your question "was it misogyny?". You're pretty bitter - you know that? And it warps your judgement, so bear that in mind. Woman.
