All the beneficial things you can actually do with technology and this is what some people are using it for. Siiiiigh…. Sadly, always been the case. The written word, cartoons, cinema, home video, the internet... All been successful to a degree because of pervy stuff. This is particularly grim, although the 'AI' tag is again just alarmist. Anyone reasonably competent with Photoshop could easily manipulate a photo of a person to make them naked. Guess if there's a positive, it will be we'll all eventually assume everything is just made up so there is no shaming or embarrassment. Miserable bloody world. |

It's also the case that it's illegal in the UK to use computers to make fake underage nudes so I think this would be illegal here. I wonder if it will be made illegal to do it to adults here? What if you changed their face enough so that it was similar but different? How would you legislate for that?

It isn't just computers. It's illegal to create an indecent 'pseudo-photograph' of a child by any means.
Quite how that applies in court I wouldn't know. Probably lots of lawyers and judges don't know either.

Jake Verano Gomez was seen taking a video of a woman under her clothes by the female City of London police officer on 19 August, Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court heard.
