'West Mercia Police said it could not comment on specific cases.'
Of course they couldn't because it would implicate them. Other police forces charge men with having sex with underage girls so why couldn't West Mercia Police? Because they didn't care and are a bunch of lily livered spineless men who can't be bothered to do their jobs properly. It's a wonder that anybody in the UK trusts the police anymore after Telford, Rotherham etc. etc.

Not only that clarity, the police chief who claims they consented so it’s ok, should be sacked and lose his pension

I don't know how West Mercia police rate compared with other police forces in England. There are successful prosecutions for sex crimes in their area, though.
Jailed: Man who raped three girls in Telford gets 18 years By Sue Austin | Telford | Crime | Published: Jul 5, 2017
Nicholas Gallantree, 25, collected a gang of vulnerable young people in Telford, grooming them and supplying them with drugs and alcohol. At Shrewsbury Crown Court, Judge Jim Tindal praised Gallantree’s four victims saying they were some of the bravest people he had ever met. He said he viewed Gallentree as dangerous to vulnerable young women and passed an extended sentence of 18 years with an extension period of four years.

Nicholas Gallantree sounds like he should be the 19th century hero in a Mills and Boon novel.

I'm guessing everyone will have to bow to your experience on that.

That's completely nonsensical. As we all know, they are many crimes for which the perpetrators are not brought to book. When they do appear in court, they are not always convicted. For lack of convincing evidence and with the help of a competent defence lawyer, they may be found not guilty. A television commentator is hardly a key figure in the process.
You've just read the headline Jailed: Man who raped three girls in Telford gets 18 years. What part did Andrew Neill play in that?

Sometimes years go by before an abuser is finally brought to justice.
Former foster carer from Telford faces long jail term for child sex abuse By Mark Andrews | Dawley | Crime | Published: Mar 9, 2018 Shropshire Star
A former foster carer from Telford has been told he faces a significant jail sentence after being found guilty of abusing three boys he fostered four decades ago. Leslie Bryan was found guilty of 13 offences. Recorder Simon Mayo QC immediately remanded 64-year-old Bryan in custody for sentencing on April 6.
The judge asked the probation service to assess the risk Bryan posed to the public. The court had been told by prosecutor, David Wilson, that Bryan abused his position of trust by preying on vulnerable boys who were “in no position to object to the behaviour”.

look Bert the only important part of this whole sorry affair is whether the BBC reports every little detail or not, and no one gives a toss about Bryan, its only worthy of if they have a darker hue...

The important part is the kids.
That some concentrate on skin colour is just for some who defend people of a darker hue.
Some who concentrate on defending people of a darker hue, need to have a wake up call.

None of this explains why West Mercia police didn't charge Azhar Ali Mehmood, 26, with sex crimes on an underage girl. Lucy Lowe was 12 when he first started grooming her. She had his child when she was 14. How come he wasn't charged with sex crimes?

I don't know but, since the relationship lasted several years, the girlfriend was probably in love with her abuser and wouldn't make a complaint against him. How frequent is it that the father is prosecuted when an underage girl gives birth?

If my understanding is correct - according to some board members, having sex with an underage individual is ok if you're hot, not if you're hideous. So I guess we can grab a photo and see if the police apply the same logic.

I am torn on this.
On one hand they’re rapists so f**k ‘em. On the other hand I am not sure I agree with two tier citizenship.

Yeh, fcuk 'em. If we grant citizenship we should reserve the right to take it away. Justice and vengeance.

But you live in Oz, van, yes? Where Aboriginal people feel like second-class citizens, as increasingly now do many non-Aboriginals.
I'm not having a go at you personally here of course, more pointing up how two-tier citizenship is perhaps more prevalent than many would feel comfortable with.
