The boomingness of the UK economy depends on migrants. Without them, there would be little or no expansion of the economy. There is very low unemployment so there is no pool of native labour to replace them. Therefore, the number of migrants in the UK will not be liable to change much. The difference is that more of them will probably come from countries outside the EU, as from 2021. English nationalists will then be able to return to the traditional racism targeting Africans and Asians.
According to the Office for National Statistics there are 2.35 million EU 27 nationals currently working in the UK,

The labour market is controlled by supply and demand. If the rights of EU citizens are taken away from them and discriminatory conditions are imposed, you'll reduce the numbers. Most non-EU citizens already have to jump through hoops to get into the UK so they aren't going to be affected by Brexit. To make up the shortfall, there are three ways to do it. Increase the quotas for non-EU citizens, relocate jobs outside the UK, replace people with robots. There's absolutely no benefit from Brexit.
Especially not for Brits working, or planning to work, study or live in the EU 27, since conditions for them will mirror the UK situation. And there are more UK expats, proportionate to population, than EU 27 expats in this position.
