It's no use if they can't get any deal. There is a Withdrawal Agreement which leaves everything the same for a Transition Period of 18 months. During this period, the UK is officially no longer a member of the EU. This is the time when a 'deal' on trade, security and other issues can be negotiated. The outlines of this 'deal' or deals is set out in the Political Declaration which comes into force after Brexit. The EU can't negotiate a free trade agreement with itself. The UK must become a non-member before it can have a 'deal' with the EU.

"Doom-laden warnings of economic catastrophe before the Brexit referendum were driven in part by commercial worries by economists at the banks that stood to lose the most from a ‘leave’ vote, economists have found. Analysts at institutions that faced the biggest potential losses from the referendum typically issued worse economic forecasts than those with less financial incentive to campaign to remain, according to Davide Cipullo and André Reslow of Uppsala University in Sweden." www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2019/09/06/banks-project-fear-brexit-forecasts-commercially-driven-propaganda/amp/

Problem for you is that they weren't entirely false, were they? Exaggerated, perhaps, but still in fact a very big number.

Yep. Entirely false, as they lied. Typical Farage. You can't say 2+2=5 for example.

Only existed in Brexit-speak. It was them that invented the term.

Yep. Entirely false, as they lied. Typical Farage. You can't say 2+2=5 for example. Entirely false would be x when the actual figure was 0. In fact, the substantive point (a awfully large sum of money would be repatriated) was undeniably true.
