He's not a man. He's just a bogie, which is why you've picked him.

Not me - as posted many times before. There's nothing about him I admire or even like, except perhaps that he's not Johnson. To repeat: if Corbyn were to stand down, Labour would romp home.
The important thing now is that we vote for anyone but the conservative party; current Tory MPs have collectively almost destroyed the UK and everything it once stood for. They're a fucking disgrace.

More steps forward. www.bbc.com/news/av/health-50827672/cancer-treatment-trial-chemotherapy-could-become-more-effectiven a world first, doctors in the UK are trialling an innovative new way of delivering targeted chemotherapy to cancer tumours, which could improve treatment and lead to fewer side effects for patients. The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Cancer Research are testing acoustic cluster therapy which uses ultrasound waves and microscopic clusters to pump more chemotherapy drugs into tumours, without attacking nearby healthy cells. Early days, but looks promising.

Rick's story does show why buying g woo and snake oil is not a great idea.
Yes jim people can still get influenza despite having the vaccination, lots of wild strains and not everyone is always covered, but we have good evidence even if you still catch it if vaccinated the effects are less severe and you are open to fewer secondary infections

Face it, it's a scam. Flu mutates constantly. All you're doing by having the jab is decreasing the chances of catching the particular strain in the jab and making a few people rich.

This is wrong in at least three different ways. 1? The vaccination does not increase the chance of you getting the strain 2? It's not a scam, it works some time better than others, but as I said catching influenza if you had the vaccination still cuts morbidity and mortality rates significantly 3? Sick people are far more profitable than healthy ones, it's an old worn out trope that disease prevention is all about boosting profits, a vaccine is chump change when compared to hospital treatment

1. The word I used was actually 'decreased' not 'increased'. It's quite important that you read this correctly.
2. OK
3. If everyone was healthy you'd have to find another job and all the big pharmas would go bust.
As an aside, I've had flu 3 times in my life; real flu, where the first sign is you think you're going to die and the second is you hope you're going to die. If vaccines work, why aren't I immune already? Surely the real thing offers better immunity than the jab?
Even my doc said the vaccine's a bit of a shot in the dark (it would be in Van's case I suppose).

Yep misread the first one
I'd love to be in a world where no one ever gets some of the nasty conditions and diseases I've had to treat, but that's never going to happen, though vaccinations prevent some morbidity and mortality, uts realy just a sliver of health care
