Who, Hitchcock?
Ah. Just googled it. Yep.

Tippi Hedren? I didn’t know that either.
His most beautiful leading lady was Grace Kelly, of course. An absolute stunner she was.

Hard to beat Grace Kelly for beauty.

Hitchcock probably would have beaten her, though.

Is that fair? Dunno. He was very keen but I'm not aware that he crossed any lines.

Depends how you define "crossed any lines". He does appear to have done what Weinstein claimed he'd do if women didn't succumb to his advances. Tried to ruin Hedren's career. There's a reason she only appeared in one single small cameo during the half decade after Marnie was released.

Hepburn cute, Bacall alluringly sensual, Loren very beautiful.

This is just so craven and revolting. "Oh sh*t, we've finally got to do something about the predatory black rapist that we've been happy to keep in the fold for far too long. It'ĺl look terrible if the first massive rapist we can't stay mates with is black. Tell yku what: let's kick out the Jewish paedo fifty years too late. That'll work. We won't look at all insincere."

Having to retrofit shame onto those we once idolised is, sadly, one of the unintended consequences of the celebrity wankfest that society finds so appealing.
