Well Polanski was known about in the 70s. Weinstein was only rumours until fairly recently and Cosby was in between. Still, a trio of cnuts. Lock them up. After a fair Cosby-style trial of course.

Weinstein wasn’t rumours. He was known about in his circles, ditto Cosby ( the complaints went back decades) ditto Polanski (and others.) I think it’s the current environment is saying “you know what, that kind of sh*t is not ok.” |

Nothing wrong with shagging starlets if they're up for it. If they’re being pressured into because it’s clear that’s the only way they will get roles it’s messed up. If it’s just two people who fancy each other (and neither is 13 or drugged) that’s fine. |
