Well they criticise the mothers when such foetuses are born for irresponsibly bringing children into the world they are completely unable to care for. “We claim that killing a newborn could be ethically permissible in all the circumstances where abortion would be. Such circumstances include cases where the newborn has the potential to have an (at least) acceptable life, but the well-being of the family is at risk,” the article reads. “We propose to call this practice ‘after-birth abortion,’ rather than ‘infanticide,’ to emphasise that the moral status of the individual killed is comparable with that of a fetus (on which ‘abortions’ in the traditional sense are performed) rather than to that of a child.” www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/she-the-people/post/after-birth-abortion-can-they-be-serious/2012/03/03/gIQADgiOsR_blog.htmlIt is no longer just the unborn that are in danger,,, you know that there is a waiting line for babies to adopt, people are going to undeveloped countries to adopt, yet they are killing pre/after born here You can’t make a claim based on the what a couple of crazies on the Internet said. This is about the bodily autonomy of adult woman. Not the norm at all going to happen, infanticide of born children.

Although tbf Mona Lisa is a bit pathetic. One of the least interesting things in the Louvre. says who? Anybody who has been and seen it. It’s a massive letdown and was definitely not the highlight of my visits to the Louvre.

When I went it was so crowded I only got a bit of a peak, but yes it was underwhelming, and realy considering the other amazing stuff there I was a loss to understand the hype.

I wonder how this story slipped by a couple people here - during the protests some cop-hater shot a cop and a security guard dead and seriously wounded two others. He shot at the guard shack from the door of his van, what bravery. Oh wait a minute, he's a far-right wing lunatic, that explains it. “Go to the riots and support our own cause,” Steven Carrillo typed into a Facebook post, according to an FBI affidavit unsealed Tuesday. “Show them the real targets. Use their anger to fuel our fire. Think outside the box. We have mobs of angry people to use to our advantage.” Later that night, federal investigators say, as angry protesters marched through downtown Oakland streets in the city’s most chaotic night of police clashes, Carrillo took advantage of the distraction, spraying a guard shack outside the Oakland federal building with bullets from the open door of his van with his handmade assault rifle. Robert Alvin Justus Jr., a Millbrae man he’d met for the first time only hours before, drove the two away as an exhilarated Carrillo yelled, “Did you see how they f—ing fell!” according to the affidavit. David Patrick Underwood, a 53-year-old federal security officer from Pinole, was shot dead. His colleague was seriously wounded. A week later, after someone reported his abandoned van to police, the 32-year-old Ben Lomond resident allegedly ambushed two Santa Cruz County deputies as they pulled up to his house on a remote, mountainous road. Carrillo is charged with killing Damon Gutzwiller, a 38-year-old sergeant, and wounding another deputy in that attack. The shootings shed light on the relatively new fringe Boogaloo movement. In court records, the FBI said the term is used by extremists to “reference a violent uprising or impending civil war in the United States.” In the affidavit, the FBI wrote it’s not a defined group, but followers of the ideology “may identify as militia and share a narrative of inciting a violent uprising against perceived government tyranny.”www.sfchronicle.com/crime/article/Suspected-Santa-Cruz-County-cop-killer-Millbrae-15343978.php

It's funny, though. The majority of people in the US, the majority of Democrats, and the majority of Republicans, all support the protests. Everyone is aware that there's a structural problem that needs fixing. Even most Republicans.

Do most republicans really support the protests?

When do the peaceful protests start? Do we have to wait for the violent ones to finish?

that's the problem, for weeks these protest would start peaceful, only to turn into a violent riot, isn't it the leaders of the protest to police themselves to prevent this?? how many times is this allowed? are the protesters blind, or are they really rioters at heart

And this, my friends, is why the small minority who want to retain the current structural biases are desperate to highlight the few non-peaceful protests. There's a reason they go on and on about the one day where someone sprayed some graffiti. There's a reason why the police fire treat protesters so badly. They know that if they provoke a fight, the public gets less sympathetic to the protests.
