Such is the state of moralistic turbulance at the BBC that I could not reliably gleen from that article the birth gender of the complainant. Really? Is that because you can't read? It's bleedin' obvious all the way through.

Nope. I'm not sure if "she" is she or not. In fact, I get the impression that we shouldn't even be discussing it.

People seem to have a really hard time with very simple pronouns. I actually had to leave the bar earlier because the guys were talking about a trans woman as "it" rather then "she". They're teachers so they really should know better.

When talking to their partner and trying to hide the sex of the person they are talking about they manage to pronoun switch with ease.

The first paragraph: “ A 23-year-old woman who is taking legal action against an NHS gender clinic says she should have been challenged more by medical staff over her decision to transition to a male as a teenager.”

The misunderstandings are generally when someone speaks of 1) a trans woman or 2) a trans man; 1) being born a man and 2) being born a woman. If you're not living in the midst of the sort of society which refers to these terms, you probably wouldn't know.
I've only picked it up from NewsGeneral cos I wouldn't have come across it anywhere else. I'm not really that interested either.

I'm not agin it, as our docs are ridiculously over-trained and we are recruiting from the over-achievers rather than people who actually could do a good job.*
I suspect that this is inclusion agenda posturing and will never see the light of day.

As long as there is sufficient oversite and quality control it sounds like a good idea, I'd have done this root had the chance been offered, I chose nursing cos they paid me to train, it was the only way with 2 young kids and mortgage I could have ever managed it.

I'm of the opinion when someone is messing with your giblets the greater the qualifications the better!
The whole thing sounds like a Medical Litigation Solicitor snuck a memo in to a meeting!
