Yeah, they're a bit cagey about where he went to school. I think there might be something in that.

Boarding School Syndrome is not to do with homosexuality it's more to do with having your parents - who you love - send you away at the age of eight. You are angry with and confused by the people you love.

I had no idea who he was. He sounds like a bit of a kook. Didn't practise actual medicine. Popularised intermittent starvation diets. Experimented on himself. I'm not entirely convinced he was a serious person.

The problem I had was my first one - at eight was very near - which made it worse. The second was the other side of Hampshire.

Yeah, it does feel like in-house news really. The bloody fuss they're making over Mike Mosley, honestly. I'm sorry to hear that he's croaked but I don't think he was a key to our national consciousness as they seem to think.

I have read about this a lot. I can imagine how hard it would be on a young child having to experience that.

Looks like Mosely died of heat exhaustion. I wonder if he was a drinker and was dehydrated to start with. That plus his age and the heat could have done him in. Maybe the weird diets had something to do with it too.

Yeah, not a great way to go. That sort of thing should happen to me, as I have always enjoyed strenuous exercise in crazy heat, but I'm not a medical man.
