I think you're probably thinking of the IAI Kfir? No Kfir was the indigenous Mirage copy/development with a GE engine, if I recall correctly it grew out of the Nesher series! Lavi was a design concept to produce an advanced F16 clone, it was cancelled allegedly on cost grounds and a deal with the US for F16's, they ended up purchasing over 200 F16I's |

Yeah, I saw that. It looks like an F16 that's been cut 'n' shut with a Typhoon. I have to contest the use of the word "purchased" when used in the context of US/Israeli defence contracts, mind.

Yes, you read correctly, an Arab from Taibeh(arabic city in israel) was elected chairman of Bank Leumi!
For the first time an Arab citizen serves as chairman of the board in the banking system, a position that is considered one of the leading and strongest in the Israeli economy.
And you know what, according to his impressive resume he deserved it, I am so proud of him and I am also proud of my country, the only democratic country in the Middle East! So Ahmed Tibi, when you or your friends call Israel an apartheid country you just look ridiculous. Because everything is possible for us the Israeli Arabs and we are today in every field - in the courts, the hospitals, the soccer national team and another place that you may have trouble believing - in the Israeli Knesset! Wait a minute, it 's actually you guys ... So Enough With The Hypocrisy!
