Saltburn yesterday, at last. Not a perfect film and you know where it's going by the end and there's a little too much explanation just before it finishes that's not needed. But it's great fun, and beautifully shot. And I feel like I know all the people and all the places. As long as you're not expecting a masterpiece (and don't mind some slightly offputting sex stuff) it's a very entertaining couple of hours.

Irish gangster series 'Kin'.
Acceptable fare although, in truth, I can't help but feel that the Gangster-Family vs. Gangster-Family plotline may just have been done once or twice before.
Watchable in much the same sense that Doom Bar is drinkable.

Tried Sharpe's Atlantic? Very acceptable. Nope, but thanks - it's now on the list. Is it actually brewed in Cornwall or, like Doom Bar, is its provenance more Wakefield than Wadebridge?

But I went into it never having heard of it. Which made for better viewing I think.

Ah, good question. Dunno. I was surprised that I enjoyed it so much because: A) the ad said that it was a taste of the Atlantic. To me, that's excessively salty and unpleasant. B) the can suggested pineapple hops, which I didn't like the sound of. Actually, the pineappley notes are delicious and really round out the dryness.

Miranda's Victim. Very good. I had no idea that Miranda rights were named after an actual criminal scum.

The most hated woman in America, about a woman who spent decades fighting for atheism and the seperation of church and state.

Yeah, we're watching the latest series of that. It's good. Lame, but enjoyable.

Yeah, we're watching the latest series of that. It's good. Lame, but enjoyable. It is enjoyable but the grandad's grumpy, set-in-his-ways-old-man schtick is getting tiresome. It's just unrelenting and he's not even funny with it. I'm 6 eps in, I think.

Yeah, that continues to be a bit wearing, but the ex-army officer, man of honour, character is somewhat crucial to the plot.

Loudermilk, a substance abuse councilor who is very rough around the edges. Only about 3 episodes in, but there have been some laughs.

Bodyguard. BBC thing on Netflix. Acceptable formulaic thriller sh*t. Ok way to spend dull evenings but not worth more than that.
