You need to see the video or a version of it, the original comment by AOC pre dates trumps tweet and has nothing whatsoever to do with it, she warns Pelosi about "singling out" women of colour implying old Nancy is racist!
In the video above the Tlib reiterates the comment saying "when your singling us out be aware we are women of colour" now seeing as Pelosi has made no reference whatsoever to their race and was referring to their politics and how that is affecting the democratic party you can interpret this in one of two ways, and that is being white means you cannot criticise them, or we are women of colour and your not, either way this is playing the race card blatantly to prevent them being criticised for their radical lunacy which is hurting the democrats!
You can read between the lines that they are trying to unseat Pelosi who being old and white makes her the devil incarnate to these four for whom everything is about race!

But to be clear nobody should be above criticism or insinuate they should be. It shows the stupidity of Trump in that you have a full blow Democrat internal battle and instead of shutting up he makes it worse for himself. Quite the contrary, Trump has blown Pelosi's attempts to get them out of the limelight by making the democrats rush to their defence, these four are now the most visible democrats and they are toxic as hell, trumps boorish and unsophisticated in the diplomatic sense but this was politically brilliant, he's now put far left socialist lunacy at the front of the democratic brand! And to make it worse Omar's first action straight after getting all the attention is to put an anti Israeli bill to the house just confirming everything the republicans are saying! Shouting racist isn't working, the orange orang-utan is running rings round the Dems and these four buffoons are helping them do it! |

Nobody said “shouting racist is working” because everybody is fully aware that Trump’s supporters are as racist as him and have no issue with associating US citizenship with whiteness. It’s been clear for ages that he has targeted the alt-right vote. However him blundering him has given the Democrats a reason to pause the infighting. The irony in you talking about people “shouting out racist” while people glibly call Omar “anti-Semite” have not been lost on me either.... His tweet was constructed so the trump haters will interpret it as racist, he doesn't give a toss they wouldn't vote for him anyway, and his supporters and swing voters will see it differently, either way his tweet will be forgotten pretty quick when the next outrage starts but the poster girls are very much front and centre and to boot he's got the ice raids and his asylum changes off the front pages!

Well yes as I said he does not care about making racist tweets because his base is racist and also agree with the notion that non white citizens are lesser citizens / have “homes” elsewhere. I actually do think Trump is stupid though. Genuinely do. I mean the man ascribed to birtherism for heaven’s sake. I don’t hate him particularly. I think he is an embarrassment to the US president but I think it’s good he has brought to light the prejudice within the US society that has always been there and never budged. And I am also glad he is not my president. Can you post some of Omar’s comments about Jews? You are the second person to make the claim that she makes negative comments about Jews but nobody has provided evidence of her anti-semitism. |

The "Benjamins" comment was anti-semitic. It might have been "accidental" in the same way that Trump supporters are claiming that his racist tweet was accidentally racist and he hasn't actually got a racist bone in his body. Fortunately, Omar realised that when it was pointed out and retracted. Unlike Trump. Most of her stuff has just been about Israel policy, and fair game, but there have been a couple of times when she's gone very close to the line - and she really should stop and have a think about how these things might look.

You seem to be confusing my comments about what is being reported and my opinions, I'm not making any judgments I'm relaying what I have read, the republicans are calling her anti Semitic and she is giving them the ammunition to do so, she has apologised publicly for these kind of comments, the dems condemn BDS in the house as anti Semitic and then as soon as she is in the spotlight she tables a BDS motion after pledging not to during her campaign, and now the dems can't condemn it after defending her! Put your partisanship to bed and even you can see this is all kinds of dumb, trump is going to make the next election about patriotism versus anti Americanism, Pelosi has a real problem with these four, that is if Pelosi survives, which I'm not convinced she will! |

If this is the case then by their own rules non whites cannot criticise Trump as that would be racist? |

Of course, BDS shouldn't be condemned. It is not anti-semitic. BDS is a perfectly reasonable tactic considering Israel's vicious and racist behaviour in Palestine.
