John Crace wants sacking really. Again, it's the same mentality that allows a Labour peer to call a politician a nazi, but jails an ordinary Joe for doing the same.

Ew ew ew ew ew...
“ “Not least because the only way Isabel Oakeshott, the journalist who got the leaked emails, ever gets a scoop is if Nigel or Arron Banks slips it to her.” In the online version this read “Not least because the only way Isabel Oakeshott, the journalist who got the leaked emails, ever gets a scoop is if he or Arron Banks leave it conveniently tucked under her pillow.”
I expect that from the Mail. Very disappointing from the Guardian.

Have you ever read the Guardian? All the time. This kind of rhetoric is normally your thing and you are the furthest thing from a Guardianista.

The far left are having a civil war. Good. We predicted this but you wouldn't listen. "Hundreds of staff and contractors at the Guardian have signed a strongly worded letter to the editor in protest of the newspaper’s “pattern of publishing transphobic content”. The letter, which was sent to Katharine Viner on Friday night, has 338 signatories from across multiple departments at the title, and in every region — from senior editorial staff in the UK, the US, and Australia to employees in the commercial, digital, and technical departments. It has been passed to BuzzFeed News on the understanding that the individual names would not be published. Among the signatories are household names with international reputations and long-standing tenures at both the Guardian and its sister Sunday title, the Observer." www.buzzfeed.com/patrickstrudwick/guardian-staff-trans-rights-letter

It's spreading - the mids-baloo-UJ Triangle, the MBU 19 virus. 80% unaffected by it, 19% bored by it, 1% driven away from N.General.

Left wing racists. Or just racists as they're known.

The Guardian staff are right. It's bizarre that the Guardian keep giving a platform for TERFs.

It doesn't matter who is right or wrong. It's the hilarity that's important.

It doesn't matter who is right or wrong. It's the hilarity that's important. That's true. That said, people's prejudging "rightness" or "wrongness" is in danger of eclipsing (read: stalling) debate about some key topics of the modern age. It is a sad day when people are nervous about expressing their opinions (no matter how distasteful) without having some epithet lobbed at them.

We had a similar thing 20 years ago on this site's MSN predecessor, the dreaded PC.
