Nah it’s definitely not that. Time is still linear no matter what Marvel movies would have you believe.

I had never heard of him before. You couldn't remember why you knew him. We both only know him as a rapist. As does FA.

Chris Kaba cop walks free. www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c17lk592ygdoIt does seem like the wording around this is wilfully trouble-making. It seems to seek to leave the matter open for interpretation. The firearms officer was said not to have intended to kill the bloke, and yet he shot him through the head?

Good. This has made my day. The cop's a hero and should get the George Medal. Good.

I think what the cop was trying to say was that there was no malice aforethoughy, that they hadn't decide to decided in advance that matey was going home in a box.

I wonder how much his parents are holding out their hats for. Apparently, they weren't immediately informed of their son's death. That's gotta be worth a couple of mil.

The jurors should get a bonus. Ten grand each for a not guilty vote.

We should charge his family legal costs. Then charge them for the bullet. But give them the bullet as a keepsake. Then deport them. Somewhere.

I often wonder about the concept of being declared an outlaw, and whether the British practice was adopted by the Americans. That seems to make sense inadequate nascent, frontier society.

Yeah, it's actually quite interesting and would make "dead or alive" a legitimate objective as habeus corpus no longer applies.

"Details about the background of Chris Kaba, the man shot dead by a police firearms officer in south London, can now be reported. Mr Kaba was shot in the head during an armed vehicle stop in Streatham in September 2022. Now it can be reported that he had been charged with attempted murder over a shooting at a nightclub in Hackney, east London, in August 2022." www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/clyly5122yeo

It would be interesting to know where that tool in The Guardian got "architect" from. He sounds like a site labourer.

Interesting read.
In these situations it is always important to know all the information the jury had before they gave their verdict of not guilty.

Verdict in 3 hours. It sounds like the evidence was overwhelming. They probably just sat around for 3 hours for form's sake.
