Not only did this (pictured) happen in Ohio today but in Michigan a bunch of twats got mad about boating season being canceled so they got in their cars and blocked the entrance to the hospital where all the COVID-19 patients are being housed. so what's the deal with boating season? why is it a problem, when I am on a boat I am always more then 6ft away from anyone, usually don't get within 100ft from anyone, maybe if the dumb-ass governor didn't go crazy with these rules others might be more understanding, and what's with not being able to buy seed for garden? it's spring time you know, if you don't plant now you won't ever,, we are lucky there is a first amendment to keep these governors in check So you think it's a perfectly appropriate responce to block traffic and blockade a hospital full of dangerously I'll people cos you got asked to put your hobby on hold for the greater good. That's fcuked even by your standards jim

Four months into this pandemic, every day it's all over the news and the person supposed to be leading us in this mess still thinks it's a germ.
Yeah, he's all over it. Really inspires confidence.

That's fcuked even by your standards jim you are a medical type, and a dem type, tell me why would you block people from using their motor boats, but not their canoe? why would you stop people from planting their gardens? let me guess, canoe owners likely tend to be dems while motor boat owners are rep?

Is it because motor boats tend to launch from boat launches where people will congregate? Is it because you can fit 15 drunken frat boys on a motor boat, but only one or two in a canoe? I don't know. But I do know that in California they explicitly said a couple of days ago that the bans are universal rather than nuanced because that's all you can do at the beginning: once activities become less proscribed, the government will determine what is the sensible way to approach all these things. Perhaps motor-boats that are already in the water can, at that point, be used; or perhaps only with a crew limited to, say, 4 people? But it takes a long time to determine good practice for each activity, and until that is determined you'll have a universal ban on motorised boats.
More to the point, is it worth blocking access to a hospital for?

The spread of coronavirus is dependant on how dense the population is and on how dense the population is.

Applauding the NHS is going to be the new Poppy Wearing, isn't it? If you don't do it enough, long enough, loud enough, ostentatiously enough, then you hate everything that's good in this world and basically are just applauding the virus and doing it's work. That said, I increasingly think that judging people for their failures - or their understanding - of social distancing is a bit twattish. I'm guilty of it, but I'm trying to stop myself. I just don't think there's much to be gained for snidely thinking about someone because they're out for a walk with a friend or wondering why they're driving somewhere. Obviously, being vocal about it and telling them they're social distancing wrong is total twattishness, shouting at someone for not wearing a mask in the open air or commenting on them walking too close to you or whatever is just a wankers move with a scream of "I'm better than you". Nothing's going to be gained from it. I think perhaps it's OK to mock the people who chose to ignore guidelines by massive margins, like all those doctors in Tasmania who infected themselves by having a party; or the protesters in Michigan. But to mock individuals for being marginally the wrong side of what you deem correct is just twattishness.

Nah, applauding the NHS is the new Princess Diana carking it. It's just another manifestation of Blair's dianafication of Britain.

The Dianafication is manifest in both poppy escalation and NHS applause.

The NHS clapping thing will die out as soon as the epidemic seems to be over.
Or, we're all dead.
Same result - no clapping.

You want a bear?
Good job the lockdown has some brown bears wandering around your neighbourhood.
Respect to you though, sincerely.
Oh, 'beer'? Genuinely took me a minute there!
