silly me. nothing racist about this from an employee on the editorial board of the flagship newspaper in the u.s.

substitute the word white with black or brown and you people would be fine with it? but apparently its fine if its aimed at whites.

Jesus taught love and non-violence. wanting their weapons celebrated as “rods of iron” is a big disconnect.

I’m not sure there’s blame here but it is very odd. If you go to the National Parks frequently - like I do - there are very, very few black people. In the last decade the number of south Asians I’ve seen has gone up, but few East Asian and almost no black. Then again, go quarter of a mile from somewhere you can park an RV and you hear almost no American accents at all. Most Americans seem absolutely terrified of walking. |

I remember being in Houston for work and having after work drinks. I went back to my hotel first and my colleagues were horrified when I told them I had walked from my hotel to the venue. I walked home (40 minutes brisk) the other day from a eye doctor's appointment thing where they put goop in your eyes and you cant drive after. My whole 'circle' was appalled.
