American History should teach what happened outside of America, but not what happened inside America. Is that right?

Partly, but it's important to the GOP the history (sic) that is taught is every myth white America wants to believe about itself, stuff like slaves being just an imagrant group and that they thrived as slaves and rather liked it, oh and don't mention half the country daughter a bloody war in order to continue keeping people as property, no, it was all about States Rights (to own people)

And anyway, the black slaves brought it on themselves because some black people owned and sold slaves in African in the 16th century. So therefore it's not White America's Fault that they had to fight a war that killed hundreds of thousands of young Americans in order to be able to keep holding slaves. No. It's the fault of the slaves. They did it. Despite enjoying being enslaved to such benevolent owners.
