I see the Tories are still happy to be funded by racists ... 'Tories took £5m from Hester days before election called' : Racist is as racist does ...Yes indeedy - the same Frank Hester who made donations of ca. £20M in '23 and '24 to the Natsy Party, this last £5M bung of his being accepted by them just before the election and after Sunak deemed Hester's comments about Diane Abbott as "racist" and "wrong". Do the Tories have no shame <again, rhetorical>? Still, answers on a postcard anyway please. |

He was obviously the least terrible remaining candidate but also clearly was never going to win a vote of party membership even if he got through the MP voting.

I'm guessing "cleverly" will win it from here. Jenrick has blown his wad and is just a bit too weird. Bad Enoch might appeal to the crazy gammon brigade when it comes to the membership, but I think they'll still prefer the nominally less crazy one.
