I find Bottomless Brunch to be very problematic because almost always the brunch itself isn’t bottomless. It’s just the cheap-Prosecco-bucks-fizz that is bottomless

In this case yes - it was the booze that was bottomless but there are brunches with bottomless food. I have even been for a bottomless dinner (both food and booze were bottomless. Surprisingly the booze was terrible but the food excellent - although there is a limit to how much bottomless food you can really eat.)

Yes, the Laura Trott who is married to a partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

That's right, the same PwC who have been embroiled in some of the worst financial scandals on record: AIG Insurance (where PwC signed off the accounts for 14 years straight knowing they were hiding significant losses in one of its subsidiaries), Caterpillar (where they actually designed an aggressive tax-avoidance scheme), Gold-smuggling via diplomatic bag in India, the Tyco Industries debacle in 2007 (where a multi-billion dollar accounting fraud fiasco that left investors with pennies on the dollar as compensation) ... ChuoAoyama Audit Corporation, South African Airways, Tesco, Yukos Oil & Gas (where PwC bowed to pressure from the Russian government to suspend all auditing activity) ... yadda yadda yadda.

So, at best, Ms. Trott is only two degrees of separation from criminal activity. Plus ça change (as they say in Sicily).
