Yeah. Wouldn't have happened if she had a husband. Just sayin'... Well, it would if it was Bamber Gascoigne. It crossed my mind that she might be related to Tim Horlick.

There's an all female car garage place in Vancouver, set up largely cos so many male mechanics are dicks to women, it's very very popular and has a good reputation I hear.

It's one of those jobs that, while women can and should be able to do, they don't. It's hard, dirty, repetitive work and, unless you own the business, badly paid.

If a woman can't find a female mechanic and the rest are all c*nts she should get a male friend to take the car in. Not the ideal solution but better than something like this happening.

She handed the car to him and there's no evidence to say he intended to deprive her of it forever. It seems silly, butnthat's probably what happened. The Old Bill will claim they don't have the resources to intervene in trade squabbles and, to a degree, I understand that. Sadly, so do the pricks of this World. It seems like theft to me. Doesn’t take over a decade to fix a car.

I think we have the answer to Mids's question of why it took so long/so much fobbing off. I think that's probably down to her TBH. I'm not blaming her, he sounds a nasty bastard. She needs a wider circle of friends. One of my associates would cheerfully smack him around, just for being a cheeky cunt. His nickname in the workshops is "Shallow Grave". He is a very dangerous man to cross. You are blaming her.

Not in the least. Do try.to.read. It’s blaming as you know. You would not have felt the need to preface it otherwise.

Yay. "Halifax dog Rose is finally free after seven days of being trapped deep in a rock. Volunteers have spent days drilling into the rock off Dudley Crescent in Mixenden trying to rescue the pup. Today, they finally managed to pull her out. Rose fell down an extremely narrow gap in the rock last Thursday. Firefighters had tried to rescue her but said they could not drill into the rock without damaging the structural integrity of the area. They said she was in a gap eight feet deep in to the rock face with an opening of just 12 inches at its very widest part." www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/people/halifax-dog-rescue-trapped-halifax-dog-rose-finally-free-a-week-after-falling-deep-into-rock-4809290

Here's the dreaded AI at work again. People will believe what they want to believe. "Police charged 31-year-old Dazhon Darien, the school’s athletics director, with several counts related to the fake video. Charges included theft, retaliating against a witness and stalking. He was arrested at the airport, where police say he was planning to fly to Houston, Texas. Police say that Mr Darien had been under investigation by Principal Eiswert over an alleged theft of $1,916 (£1,460) from the school. They also allege there had been “work performance challenges” and his contract was likely not to be renewed." www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckg9k5dv1zdo
