Or are suicides and accidental deaths just not a big deal because they’re mostly white people dying and UncleJr only wants to keep black people safe?

You only seem to care about the lack of reports from the BBC rather than about actually removing guns from the hands of Americans.

Or that the majority of those who die are white. Its like you don't really care about so many unessesary deaths at all.

Removal of guns is a matter for Americans themselves and as much I am opposed to them , successive elected governed have never come close to doing anything concrete in that regard... The gang crime I spoke of however , I think is fixable and am open to suggestions ....my friends there say the police are thin on the ground at the known hot spots & at weekends etc

Now they've got the reputation of being dicks. Mind you, imagine how much work they'll pick up from the BBC.

Ah, it must be black history month again as the BBC is awash with gormlessness. Awash. "Dr Jazmin Scarlett, a student in volcanology, had been excited to embark on a career in academic research. She believed she was well placed to get job offers given she has a distinction in her masters and is a recipient of the prestigious President's medal from the Royal Geological Society. But almost a year on from obtaining her PhD, Dr Scarlett has received more than 30 rejections for full-time research posts. After one unsuccessful application, Dr Scarlett asked for feedback, and was told that although she was academically qualified, it was felt she "would not fit in"." www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-58795079Haha! "Wouldn't fit in" is brilliant i.e. "Look love, a joke's a joke but, you know, Hull." We're recruiting at the moment and when we get someone we just don't like, we tell them that we don't think they'd be a good cultural fit. We are 60/40 female/male and probably 20% BAME.

How you come across in an interview and how you're perceived as being able to fit in is a huge part of getting a job. If you come across as all entitled and blm-ish it could affect your prospects. I've interviewed people with all the right qualifications but have also thought "nope, couldn't work with ztheym".

"So, what is it about the role of volcano research assistant that attracted you?"
"Well, speaking as a black-affirming cis-non-trans-woman in the post-Floydian milieu, I always ask myself, what would Mary Seacole (pbuh) say?"
"Errrr.... what?"

You say that, but she is on record as saying that volcanology is part of her cultural heritage.
She's a natural hazards geographer really. All a bit GCSE, but plenty of opportunity for whining about displacement, poverty and whitey's indifference.

Sounds like her problems are more related to her disability and not race. If her disability is visible then it's not surprising that a job that involves scrambling up hills in remote areas is going to be considered difficult by prospective employers.

If she has an affliction, it's a bad case of Vanitis: it's a chronic, debilitating and life-limiting parasitic disease carried by vermin in the community (Red Rats).
