Lockdown has been pretty beneficial to me despite working six days a week i'm cycling now more than I have ever done, I'm 55 this year and my fitness levels are better than they have been for years!
Not all gloom and doom.

A propos nothing in particular, I have been astonished by how many people are "employed" by EU-financed quangos in UK. I'm not in business development but I've made it a pet project to roll out as much free education as I can in Cornwall. There are at least a hundred people employed in various enterprise quangos, none of whom appear to have a blind idea what they're doing. I had a speed networking event today which was organised by a professional events bloke and it was a f**k**g debacle. I followed that with a conversation with a woman who I hadn't been able to chat to at the do. She was very pleasant but she told me that she hadn't had a business conversation in months. That's a full time job.

Not surprising. Why deal in money if it's restricted? I wouldn't. Regulations in the City are veneer. And, I add quickly, it's a good thing.
