It also allows paedophilia and child abuse. Only where those are cultural norms and the elders decide. Child abuse and paedophilia happens throughout the UK because the UK, according to you, allows it.

Britain allows people to text and drive, to speed, to buy, sell and smoke dope, the bootleg software, to give and take backhanders while being in the Tory government, and so on. And? You make my point for me. We are so soft on those things, possibly because we've lost control of them. QV immigrants - we have little or no knowledge of where they are or how they spend their time. I doubt that we have a good handle on how many we have. So you’re admitting that Tory immigration policy has been a complete disaster? This is progress. Of course, we should have little or no knowledge of where legal immigrants are. The US government doesn’t need to know where I am, either. As for illegal migrants, by definition we don’t know where they are. As for refugees and asylum seekers, they should be allowed to work particularly after being quickly and efficiently and fairly processed by a properly funded system rather than being moved to Rwanda for millions of quid each or stored or prison ships or in concentration camps for years at high cost to both British taxpayer, British social cohesion and to the health and wellbeing of people who - until we learn their individual case - we should assume are already fleeing in fear of their lives.

I have heard some nonsense about immigration but imagine thinking that people smoking dope and texting and driving is because of immigrants! Also aren’t you the one who bragged about texting and driving? Did immigrants make you do that too?

Collectively, our Goverments and government have failed us, for a long time. That much is undeniable.

They appear to have failed to teach you the differences between refugees, legal migrants and illegal immigrants. Or you're deliberately confusing and eliding them. Or you're actually so stupid that you can't discern that there is a difference.

Probably doesn't care what category new comers fall into, they are for the most part non whites and it's clear they don't want them in the UK under any category

Didn't Farage say, pre-2016, that if the referendum result were as close as, say, 52/48 (his example) in Remain's favour, he would regard this as Work in Progress and would still campaign to leave.
All William Keegan is doing is exercising his right to do the same for Remain/Rejoin.

It’s not a very good article, is it? All over the place, just random thoughts, a couple of trite digs (is there any reason to mock Dom Cummings eyesight in this context?), something about Russia but doesn’t follow through, something about Gordon Brown and John Major but doesn’t follow through. That doesn’t stop it being fundamentally right. The status quo ante was better. In terms of being in the EU, that is, not in terms of returning Boris Johnson to No 10.
