I'm not defining trans people for you. But the most simple thing is that they're people who have gender dysmorphia and live their lives as a gender they weren't assigned at birth. A bloke who lives his life as a bloke but puts on a dress to abduct a girl is just a man. But, as the article says, he identifies as a woman. Are you doubting him, homophobe? Actually the article seems to suggests his gender identity may or may not be determined. He had claimed to be transgender but also wanted to be referred to by male pronouns at the time of their arrest. But what is the relevance of their gender identity? If transgender people did not exist / if the government somehow made transgenderism illegal is your argument this crime would never have happened? |
