Easiest thing to do is to not look at the genitalia of the people you're playing golf with. But if that's your fetish you really ought to get consent from your playing companions before indulging it. Ah, it's as easy as that. So now pre-op men wanting to be women can compete in women's sports as well. The only determining factor is what they wish to be in their own minds. What isn't? Do you look at peoples' undercarriage that you're playing sport with, or do you just accept them when they tell you they're a bird or a bloke? Do you demand to see date-stamped photos of undercarriage from when they were pre-teens to make sure they haven't transitioned? thingy |

So it's nothing to worry about until there are hordes of them and women's sports are completely upended.
As it is, actual women not making the team, or the top spots, or being outcompeted doesn't matter because we don't want to hurt the feeling of trans that want to join women's sports teams. You want to make allowances to not marginalize trans but don't seem to realize you are doing that to women.

Baloo is totally apathetic about any rape that isn't committed by a trans woman, and even only then thinks about it because it's a convenient tool for his culture war nonsense rather than through any actual concern for the victim.
Baloo also is totally apathetic about womens sport except when he can try and use it as a wedge issue. He is obviously apathetic because he can't identify any careers that have been stunted.

I'm not resposnsible for checking peopele's eligibility for a competition. I enter a time trial. I don't check peoples previous times to check they qualify or their handicaps. Funny how, when someone who has expert personal experience of being both trans and a top athlete calls "bollocks", her opinion is poo-pooed as insincere culture warfare. She doesn’t have “expert” opinion. Her personal opinion is just that. Unless she has specialised in studies of transgender issues and has carefully examined the science, articles and studies on the impact of medical transition on athletic ability, her opinion is just that: opinion. Her being a transgender woman does not mean her view is automatically scientifically informed. It’s 2021 - we really need to leave this “man in the pub” type analysis behind. |

They aren’t. So it’s a weird thing to worry about. It's about how male or female is defined. Every time we drift back to this. The logical view is that if a person has male genitals it's a male; if a person has female genital it's a female. You can argue otherwise until you're blue in the face, along with voice and van, but I'm sticking to the science. You’re obsessed with me. So obsessed you bring me into discussions I was not part of and make up things I have never said just to mention me. Seek help. |
