I'm not the one trying to argue against actual statements and a line of argument I clearly haven't been able to keep up with. It's that, or your traditional appetite for virtue frotting has got the better of you, again.

Is justice measured on cash? Surely the judgement in her favour is the important thing? Well, McGregor should get punished as much as possible, and taking the cash off him is the only punishment available. Why do you want him to also not get punished?

Oh, I hope he gets torn to bits. I'm nit sure that he'll miss a few quid and, perversly, I expect it will have done him no harm at all. QV Mike Tyson, who actually went to jail.
He, and the tools that love what he does, will laugh this off. Sadly, it won't have done much for vulnerable women either, and the game will carry on.

Well, yeah. Tyson's a good example of how the world treats rapists as if they're just fine if they're famous enough.
McGregor might not miss a few million quid, or whatever the judgement is. But, as with every part of this process, it's better than the nothing that came from the Irish prosecutors and that you seem to think is appropriate given the Irish prosecutors' failure.

Yeah, I just can't see that. It's business as usual.

Also, I'm not sure it's a failure of the Irish Prosecutor. If there was no evidence, what could they do?

Also, I'm not sure it's a failure of the Irish Prosecutor. If there was no evidence, what could they do? Right. So you think he shouldn't have faced any consequences at all? This woman shouldn't have brought a civil case and the Irish prosecutor couldn't have brought a state prosecution.

No. I don't know what the answer is. That's what I said at the outset. I don't think a balance of probability outcome is satisfactory, or just, for either side. The money doesn't add any sense of justice either, and could be seent to be damaging to the objective.

The Irish prosecution service is, of viyrse, bound by regulation to bring only cases whereby there's a realistic chance of a sound prosecution. Again, from the outset, I wondered how they and the Gaudia, are supposed to police other people's sexual activity and how they could know what was said and done amongst a bunch of heavily intoxicated people.
Maybe this is why rapists feel emboldened.

Where the prosecutor does not have sufficient evidence to be certain of a criminal prosecution you want him to get away scot free. Or you want a civil judgment in her favour with no further impact to Macgregor and no form of restitution for the victim.

Why are you referring to her as โheโ for simply having naturally occurring high testosterone levels? Did you not read your article? Can you read? You do realise that nobody is claiming she is transgender right?

It's amusing to watch the left torturing themselves to find new ways to agree with me while tribbing their own engorged sense of self worth.
