I think all US citizens who want to be out are already out. Afghans who want to leave are apparently mostly restricted either by access to the airport or by their inability to get visas because the previous administration basically put a hard cap on the number of refugees allowed into the country and made it as hard as possible to get refugee status in the US. |

I think they've both fled the US and are on their way to Afghanistan to seek asylum. lol. nah, we couldn't be that lucky. |

The only good argument I've seen is the one from Jon Sopel - that perhaps it would have made more sense for the US to withdraw when it wasn't "fighting season". That actually seems pretty reasonable as a suggestion. Pull out when the weather's so f**k**g miserable that even the Taliban want to stay home with their goats.
