If such a thing exists, for any believers really, he/she clearly doesn't give a fcuk. Well, that's an interesting one that: the received wisdom is that life is supposed to be full of challenges as it provides a sort of framework for demonstrating your moral virtue and faith in reward in the hereafter. The evidence does seem to sort of fly in the face of the fundies' position that they are somehow winning divine approval by being dickheads, especially when their actions run directly against the written instructions in the Holy book, whichever that is e.g. honour the people of the book. |

Nah if the Yanks had been there, the help they'd have been able to offer would have saved lives. However, he fled and his incompetent indecisiveness will result in lives being lost, just like in Israel and Ukraine too. He's a f**k**g disaster.

Hitler and Stalin we're both atheistic, as we're pretty much all post-imperial conflicts. Can't remember a pronounces theist theme to the Falklands conflicts or the Napolenic wars. Yeah we've covered this, their soldiers were almost all believers, both regimes used the church to bless their endeavors and both prayed to essentially the same god.
As for the Faulkands, I remember the Arch Bish leading prayers for the troops, and I suspect Cardinals in Argentina did much the same, praying to essentially the same god.
And if think there was no calls for God's help or claims he was on "our side" ( from both persectives) in the Nepolionic wars you have little understanding of history and the people involved.
