That story about the Priest and the incorrect Baptism should be treated like the Catholic Church treaded the concept of Limbo.
For centuries the Catholic church told the parents of children who died unbaptized that their souls were held in Limbo until the coming of Christ. Leaving their parents in a terrible state knowing that their innocent Baby was not in heaven.
And then one recent Pope said - no it's a load of bollocks Limbo doesn't exist.
