Of course, the best thing about all this is that remoan bet the house on the SNP gaining independence, breaking up Great Britain and rejoining the EU. Bet the house on it. Ha, and indeed, ha.

The essential point being, er, the Scots and money. Always unreliable - like the Irish and Welsh; always waiting to stab the English in the back - the moment they stop sucking off English titty of course.

Definitely true of the SNP and Labour. I don't think many Scots realise how much cash Britain throws at them. The SNP keep that one quiet.

Kilts on fire! www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-65288590Interesting language. Accounts "in balance" seems like a carefully chosen phrase, like "we have balanced the books" but not quite the same thing. Also "can meet all current liabilities" sounds a bit like: "we can pay the bills we have this month, but nobody's getting paid next month".

It will be fun to watch how many party functionaries are either made redundant or find new jobs on the government payroll.

The noose tightens. "SNP treasurer Colin Beattie has been arrested by police investigating the party's finances. Mr Beattie, 71, has been taken into custody and is being questioned by Police Scotland detectives. A spokesman for the force said the arrest was made in connection with the ongoing investigation into the funding and finances of the SNP. He said a report will be sent to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service." www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-65309791

Old Ma Kranky's last day at work is rapidly approaching. Plenty of (taxpayer funded) leisure time coming up.
It's starting to look a lot like someone's going to gaol.

And of course, given the close links between the SNP and the EU, this counts as EU corruption.

Burns was sh*t, wasn’t he? Mostly incomprehensible, with just a hint of patronising simplistic views.

Dunno. Seeing 'oursels as ithers see us' is infinitely profound when you consider everyone sees everyone else differently.

The Americans often add or swap in an "ee" or softer vowel sound at the end of nouns. I wonder if that's a Scots influence.
I'm thinking of Californee. Also, Missoura.

The triteness of his poems would be much more obvious if he could actually write proper words.
