Sturgeon was great, wasn’t she. A massive improvement on her predecessor, and the least terrible leader of a UK political party for decades (apart from Caroline Lucas, who isn’t technically party leader). I struggle to think, going back. Perhaps Charlie Kennedy?
But she’s had the gig for a fair while now, so it’s probably time to pass the baton on to someone else to continue her great work.

She certainly lasted longer than Truss. Mind you, that’s not saying much - a Greggs sausage roll left out in the rain would probably last longer than Truss, and may well have a better grasp of economics to boot.

Which is all the more amazing considering how incompetent the SNP have been. Falling education standards, rising drug deaths, terrible health outcomes and many more and all within her power to fix. Plus the upcoming investigating into dodgy SNP funding. Oh and the ferries scandal. It's been weird to see the free pass she got from the media both North and South of the border. Due, I think, to her remain stance, anti-UK stance and her being a woman.
