It's a smell you'll never forget, blood and sh*t. But before those keyboards get burnt out I'll quickly add that years ago someone poisoned our dog and he left half his guts on our floor. Managed to save him though.

I deal with bodily fluids most days at work, not really fazed by much any more, well apart from phlegm, I never like deep sectioning patients, the sound alone makes me gag and I can't ever look at the collection container. As for taking sputum samples to send to the lab, I've actually puked in the past trying to scoop some out. I feel sick typing this tbh
