It's good to see woman's football taking off so well.

Anyway
1 - Sunday's result was astonishing. It looked like Norway had given up a bit, but it was an absolute tonking of a team who're meant to be almost as good as England (8th against 11th in world rankings). Particularly after England's rather laboured win in the first match. If England play like they did in that game they'll be tough to beat. Germany v Spain yesterday was also a great match, those two and France are probably the toughest competition for England.
2- It's also good to see such decent crowds for this tournament, even for games that don't have a home nation playing.

Good grief. I watched the first 30 seconds of that. What an utter moronic culture war plonker that is.
Anyway, yes, it's very noticeable that the England team has been entirely white, and that this is reinforced artificially by the fact that they all seem to be aiming for identical blond ponytail hair.
There's actually some interesting discussion about this, but I suspect not from that bloke:
- the contrast is particularly striking with the men's football team, where black (but not asian) minorities are massively over-represented - ironically, black minorities seem to be over-represented in men's football because of racism, because for many sport is the best way out of poverty. This doesn't happen in women's football because it doesn't get you out of poverty and also because the support structures aren't there yet - it's getting worse recently, it appears, because football clubs are moving all their centers of excellence out of the cities to places like London Colney which, if you're a poor inner-Londoner, you're going to struggle to get to as you won't have a non-working helicopter parent who can drive you there - it's all got worse because of the actual racism in the Mark Sampson episode which was actual racism backed up by terrible terrible work from the FA.
So, yes, it's actually an interesting subject, and a lot of the causes are not actual racism but caused by inequalities in society and decisions from football clubs that are entirely rational. Yet there's also racism afoot, too.
And there's still this massive question which isn't really being addressed here: why are there so few asian players in both women's and men's football.

So what you're saying is that Asians should be forced to play football and blacks should be limited to 3% of all football players?

You know, I've noticed that there is a scandalous lack of morbidly obese people in the UK track team.

Do the Asian players only ever want to play with U14 girls at home?

But we know who's obsessing about this. No footballers are talking about it but Jimbo is. Yet somehow he thinks it's being rubbed in his face...

The left, andy voice van are utterly obsessed with their culture war that they started. It's their religion and they're very fervent. They're basically modern day puritans.

when my daughter was born we knew within a minute she was a girl, that was over 40 years ago and we still had the ability to tell if she were male/female,
